The KiKi — IBBG’s signature brunch bringing together Black women, femmes, and girls (and the communities that love them) to connect, reflect, and invest in the future.

A group of women gathered around a table during a meal or celebration, with one woman in a yellow blazer smiling at the center.
Women attending a conference or event, sitting at tables, listening, and clapping. Bright, indoor setting with a window in the background.

What is the KiKi?

[kee-kee] – A social gathering, often for the purpose of casually kicking back, fellowshiping, and sharing stories.

The KiKi is where IBBG  began. What started as a networking brunch in 2017 has grown into an annual celebration of culture, joy, and systems change. Today, IBBG is a multimillion-dollar organization advancing economic opportunity and reproductive wellbeing.

This event continues to honor our origin story, rooted in care and community!

IBBG  serves as a collective for Black women, femmes, and girls to actualize their full potential to authentically be — through autonomy, abundance, and liberation.

When you support The KiKi, you’re investing in more than an event. You’re helping fund year-round programs, community advocacy, and critical systems change across Nebraska. Your presence (and your partnership) helps us build a more liberated future for all.
